Annieka grew up in the parish of Manchester, Jamaica where her genesis started in the church. Her first solo experience was executed at just the mere age of five, leading the sunday school choir. Since then, she hasn't looked back. 

At age eight she embarked on her writing journey influenced by multiple artistes across the world. Annieka was raised with her parents along with three other siblings. Her father described as the singer of the house was an inspiration to her and later became the catalyst of her musical career.

Since then, nothing has held her back. Annieka has performed at local concerts between Jamaica and London, England all while staying true to her roots as she sings in her church today. 

She has worked on and released singles namely "Thankful" and "Warrior Prayer", produced and musically arranged by renowned bassist Michael 'MEGAHBASS' Fletcher. On the track 'Warrior Prayer', keyboardist Ottmar Campbell, Saxophonist Dean Fraser and background vocals of Nicole "Nikki" Burt are featured. Post production engineering was done by Fumiaki Ogata.
